Ralph H. "Doodles" Briner, 84, of Henry, Illinois died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Ralph was born Sept. 27, 1925, in Putnam, Co., Ill., to Roy and Polly (Drager) Briner. He married Eurith Milanest on Aug. 6, 1959, in Wenona, Ill. She survives in Henry.
Also surviving are his children, Lynn (Kevin) Bannon of Metamora, Lesa (James) Bloomer of Brimfield and LeRoy (Lori) Briner of Henry; and one brother, Glenn Briner of Henry.
His parents, one brother and one sister preceded him in death.
He had served his country in the United States Army.
Ralph was employed at BF Goodrich in Henry, retiring in 1984.
He also was a member of the Henry American Legion.
Private family graveside services will be held at Henry Cemetery.
