Richard T. Bogner, 59, of 21 Melody Lane died at 11 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2000, at his residence.
Born May 25, 1940, in Henry, IL, to Frank and Gertrude Barnes Bogner, he married Joyce E. Edens June 26, 1964, in rural Toluca. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Brian (Kelly) Bogner and Bradley (Sandra) Bogner, both of Lacon; four brothers, Howard of Peoria, James of Boynton Beach, FL, William of Bradford and Robert of Toulon; four sisters, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Maher of Wyoming, IL; Mrs. Joe (Jean) Moore of Homosassa, FL; Mrs. John (Arlene) Britt of Peoria; and Mrs. Lester (Dorothy) Westerfeld of Kickapoo; and two grandsons.
Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
He was an electrician for Goodrich Plant in Henry, IL since 1965 and had been on medical leave since October 1989.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lacon, where services will be at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. John Verrier will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Lacon, IL.
Memorials may be made to Lacon-Sparland Rescue 52 or to Immaculate Conception Renovation Fund.
