The Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Roseburg for Sharon Joy Lemire of Eugene, who died Jan. 14 of age-related causes at age 78. Burial will be Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Roseburg. Recitation of the rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Taylor's Family Chapel in Winston.
She was born June 25, 1928, in Terre Haute, Ind., to Glennola Vaughn and Clifford Leeper. She married Clement Lemire on Aug. 29, 1948, in San Diego. He died July 15, 2003.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include four children, Ann-Marie Lemire of Eugene, Stephen Lemire of Lakeside, Calif., David Lemire of Roseburg and Michael Lemire of California; a sister, Coleen Heck of San Diego; and 14 grandchildren.
