-YORK - Guy Phillips, 69, of Bentwood Lane, York, S.C., died Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, S.C.
-Mr. Phillips was born July 28, 1942, in Robbinsville, N.C., to the late Abe and Dixie Anderson Phillips.
-Survivors are his wife, Linda Diane Seagle Phillips; daughters, Pamela Diane Phillips, Laura Elizabeth Stewart and Jennifer Phillips Hunter; son, Joel Craig Phillips, Gerald Keith Phillips, Timothy Wayne Phillips and Gregory Paul Phillips; sisters, Maybell Bridges and Marie Bradley; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
-The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 4820 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie, S.C., with the Rev. Dean Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, N.C. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
