Gene, age 62 was the son of Thomas Eugene Bennett, Sr. and Martha Beatrice James Bennett.
Gene married Kelly Sue Williams 22 Oct 1993. They made their home in Mobile, Alabama.
Gene grew up and went through school in Greenwood, Leflore County, Mississippi, graduating in the Class of 1970. Gene was a nice, quiet young man. He made friends easily and kept them. He was a wonderful husband, son, brother and uncle.
Gene was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Gene was cremated and his ashes were buried between his sister Betty Carolyn Bennett and his nephew David Walton Mullen.
