A native of the Syracuse area, she was a member of Andrews Memorial Church, North Syracuse, and of the Centervlle Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. She served with the Women's Army Corps during World War II.
Surviving are her husband, Robert H. Stahl; a son, Bruce R. Stahl; her stepmother, Mrs. Frances Kurgan; four sisters, Mrs. Mary O'Donnell, Mrs. Sophia Wojcik, Mrs. Jennie Grabowski and Miss Anna Kurgan; five brothers, William, Walter, Michael, Stanley and Edward Kurgan.
