Musician, Blues-Rock Guitarist. Born Robert Lee Parker, he became known in 1961 for his song "Watch Your Step" that was later covered by the Spencer Davis Group, Dr. Feelgood, Santana and inspired John Lennon for the hit single "I Feel Fine". In 1993, he was the headliner for the Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Festival. His best remembered records include the albums "Bent Out of Shape" (1993) and "Shine Me Up" (1995). Parker died at the age of seventy-six while still musically active.
