Actor, Director. Seven-times Israeli Academy Awards winner. Born in Nahalal in the Jezreel Valley, he was the son of Israeli General Moshe Dayan. Since 1967, he has appeared in over 50 films including "A Walk with Love and Death" by John Huston and "Delta Force" by Menahem Golan. Other acting credits include Operation Thunderbolt, nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. He also directed 16 films including "Life According to Agfa" which was nominated for the Golden Bear at the 43rd Berlin International Film Festival winning an Honourable Mention. Dayan died at the age of sixty-eight due to a long cardiovascular disease.
