Zepharine Wade, aged 70 years, died Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock, after a six
months' illness with dropsy, at this home at 32 North Thirteenth street.
Besides his wife he leaves five children as follows: Mrs. Wm. Honenberger, of
Pataskala street; Wm. Wade, of Dayton; Frank Wade of Bellaire; Clarence Wade of
Holiday street; and Viola Wade, who resides on Thirteenth street.
Mr. Wade was a member of Lemert Post, G.A.R., and was a member of Company A,
175th Regiment, O.V.I. The funeral will be held Wednesday.

Possible correction, SUGGESTED EDIT: I believe the correct O.V.I Regiment is the 178th
O.V.I Co. A vice the 175th. I've searched the Ohio Infantry Regiment
records and there is no Zep Wade in the 175th. There is one listed
under Co. A of the 178th? Zephaniah would be my 3rd Great Grandfather.
