He was supposed to have been the oldest man in Worth township. He has been a resident of Lexington and Worth twenty-four years, and for many years a member of the Baptist church.
His wife nine years younger survives him. They have been married sixty-two years; have had thirteen children, eight of which are still living. They have fifty-eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
The funeral held June 26th at the Macklem school house was largely attended; Rev. Wm. Barber of Worth officiating.
