Janessa S. Banks, 23 months, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Janessa was a true fighter. She was born in Columbus, OH on July 22, 2011, to Tony M. Banks and Crystal M. Lugo and is preceded in death by a brother Tony M. Banks Jr. Survivors include her parents; sister, Iyana Banks; maternal grandparents, Lisa Hatfield and Adam Lugo; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Banks; great-grandparents, God-mothers and God-fathers, aunts, uncles, cousins, her "doggies" and many, many supporters. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, NE CHAPEL, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with a Graveside Service to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 N High Street, Lewis Center, OH.
