Mr. Michael Ray Haneline, 52, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born March 13, 1952, in Forsyth County to Howard Lanier and Eileen Cole Haneline. Mr. Haneline was employed as a mechanic for 29 years at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. He was a member of Ebert Street Church of Christ and a graduate of Parkland High School. Mr. Haneline was an avid golfer and loved to fish. Michael was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of Winston-Salem; two daughters, Heather Regina Haneline of Oak Island and Erin Lynn Haneline of Winston-Salem; his mother, of Winston-Salem; a sister, Shirley Thompson and husband Larry of Winston-Salem; a nephew, Jeffrey Scott Thompson of Raleigh; and a brother, Gary Haneline of Winston-Salem. A 9:30 a.m. funeral service will be held Thursday, May 20, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening, May 19, at the funeral home.
