Mrs. Brenda Freeman, 64, of Franklin Drive, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice. Born in Forsyth County on January 21, 1948 to James Thomas and Dorothy Mae Jarvis, she had made her home in this area for her entire life. She was of the Baptist faith and was retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jerry Wayne Jarvis and sisters, Sue Harrell and Linda McDaniel . Surviving are her sons, Scott Taylor and wife Crystal , Jamie Freeman, and Jody Freeman all of Wallburg, brothers, Thomas Jarvis III, Butch Jarvis, of Winston-Salem, and Danny Jarvis and Tim Jarvis of Clemmons; and Robin Jarvis and Jeff Jarvis also of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Kimberly, Danielle, and Shelby and great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Shiloh, Amelia, and Jayden. Memorial Services will be on Saturday at 2:00 PM in The Chapel of J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Wallburg with Rev. Barry Brown officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:30 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
