Patricia “Pat” Mickens Lewis, 66, of 2994 Carriage Drive, Winston Salem, NC, departed her earthly life on Wednesday, January, 28, 2015, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
She attended Atkins High School and was a retired employee of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 37 years of service. She leaves to cherish loving memories, three daughters, Latangle Lewis, Chevon Lewis, Mamie (Julius) Sampson; a devoted friend and ex-husband (children’s father), Sam P. Lewis Hickerson, a stepson Shawn Sharif (Sandra) Tate, all of the city, eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren; a special ex-husband and friend, Willie Tate; one sister Joan Thompson Lee of Detroit, MI. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Home going services will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1535 East 15th Street, W-S, NC 27105 with Rev. Sam P. Lewis Hickerson officiating.
