Mrs. Merendino was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and its Altar and Rosary Society and Senior Citizens Club.
She also was a member of the Pi Nu Society, Childrens Seashore House Auxiliary and Bacharach Rehabilitation Hospital Auxiliary. She was a past president of the Atlantic City Medical Center Auxiliary.
Mrs. Merendino was born in Hammonton.
Surviving are two sons, John R. of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Anthony of Ventnor; a daughter, Carol Varga of Arlington, Texas; two sisters, Madlyn Ruberton of Hammonton and Rose Waas of California; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Church, Margate.
Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
