October 26, 1925 Birmingham News: J.E. HOLLANDS, 4915 Fifth Avenue, North was killed instantly when the automobile in which he was riding struck a East Lake street car on the First Avenue viaduct. HOLLAND recently moved to Birmingham from Ensley. He was employed at the Sloss Company Bye Products and later by the Birmingham Rail and Locomotive Co.

Son of John Edward HOLLANDS and Mary Ann TAYLOR. Grandson of Robert and Helen HOLLAND who immigrated September 30, 1848.

Children: Allie Eugenia, Flora A., Lilly, Robert Edward, Margaret, Agnes, Carrie, Dorothy, Elizabeth
