Henry - Lillian Marie Lester, 73, of 1109 School St. died at 8:41 a.m. Wednesday March 1, 1995, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton, Illinois.
Born June 19, 1921, in Varna, Illinois to Lester O. and Carrie L. Johnston Feddericke, she married George W. Lester Sr. on June 3, 1940, in Davenport, Iowa. He died in 1972. Three brothers, one sister, one infant son and one infant grand-daughter also preceded her in death.
Surviving are six sons, Larry of Putnam, Russell of Jacksonville, Illinois, and Gary (Sandra), George Jr (Vickey), Earl (Leah), and Harvey (Pam), all of Henry; one daughter Carolyn (Bill) Nevitt of Henry; one brother Kenneth (Hazel) Feddericke of Magnolia, Illinois; one sister Katherine Condit of Henry; 20 grandchildren and one great-grand daughter.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Henry, where servoces will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev Edith Dunkin will officate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ries-McKitrick & Newton Mortuary, Henry Chapel. Burial will be in Henry City Cemetery. Memorial may be made to her church.
