VAN RIJN, PIETER (Age 82)
BORN: ENSCHEDE, NETHERLANDS
A retired travel consultant and former reservations supervisor for Pan American Airlines, died suddenly on June 23, 2004, at Alexandria Hospital. His survivors include, a brother, Jan Van Rijn; two nephews and a niece, all of the Netherlands; and devoted friend, Darryl Jansen of Alexandria, VA. Visitation will be on July 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Joseph Gawler's Sons, 5130 Wisconsin Ave., NW, Washington, DC. A memorial service will be held July 11, 11:30 a.m. at the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church, 1313 New York Ave., NW, Washington, DC. Burial will be in Cornell, IL. Donations may be made to the Music Fund of the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church.
