Butch was my second husband. A Vietnam Veteran who was a Marine. He loved his country and always said Once A Marine Always A Marine. He loved animals and children. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and playing darts. His favorite football team was The Redskins. He liked John Wayne movies and Westerns. He also enjoyed Walker Texas Ranger. He smoked Marlboro Reds and his favorite soft drink was Diet Coke. His favorite candy bar was Butterfinger. Due to Agent Orange Butch could not have children something he wanted more then anything. He received three Purple Hearts. We had been married only 21 months when Butch passed away from throat cancer. Something we didn't know he had. He was a wonderful kind man and I would have married him anyway. He treated me like a Queen. Married: April 23, 2003 to Diana McDevitt. A very special Thank You to Sue Williamson ( Tx*Oma )for sponsoring my husband Butch's memorial it is very much appreciated. This memorial was written and created with love by Diana McDevitt Eyler. Diana McDevitt Eyler recorded this memorial on Dec. 3, 2011.
