Josephine Charlotte Henson, age 72, the eldest of eight siblings passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013.

Josie was born to Josephine Badilla and Frank Reyes in Fresno, CA on Sept. 16, 1940. She graduated from Edison High school and was a retiree of Fresno County and the State of California.

Josie married Carl E. Henson on May 17, 1974 in a religious service in Reno Nevada. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. She was a woman of many talents. She loved to sing, dance, play piano, sew and paint. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Anthony Reyes.

Josie is survived by her husband, Carl; her stepdaughters Karen Marrone and husband Vincent, Paula Reinhardt and their children; her brothers: Thomas and Richard Reyes, and Peter Marez; sisters: Rita Reyes, Gloria Garza and Irma Marez; and many nieces and nephews.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church on Friday, June 7, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church or the Nazareth House.
