Donnie was a sweet child. A 1998 graduate of Santa Fe high school. He went into the Navy that summer and was described as a "hard charging, enthusiastic SeaBee." Donnie was killed in a tragic auto accident while returning home to Tennessee from his base in Gulfport Missisippi after spending 18 months in Iceland. It was supposed to be his first trip home in months.
