In 1988, Mr. Gromer, owner of the farm where the Higgins Cemetery is located, reported that family members said she had originally been buried at Springer Cemetery, Orange County, IN. Her son John had her reinterred at the Ames Chapel Cemetery at some later date, where she shares a stone with son Thomas. The name "Morrison" does not appear on her headstone at Ames Chapel. He had no explanation as to why Hugh Stackhouse was not also moved.
