Funeral services for Frank Self, 83, of Anacoco will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 1 at Beech Grove Congregational Methodist Church in Anacoco with the Rev. I. D. Noble officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. He died Monday in Beauregard Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Anacoco and was a barber. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Lena Harvey Self of Anacoco; two sons, Alton "Buddy" Self of Anacoco and Walter Self of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Gwendolyn Corley of Groves, Texas and Lillian Sanders of Lake Charles; a brother, Cecil Self of Anacoco; two sisters, Marie Nickerson of Anacoco and Vesie Kinard of Pineville; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
