Mrs. Keesler worked at Wakfield Company Inc. in Waterloo for 15 years and for Lectron Products Inc. in Hamilton for several years before retiring in 1987. After her retirement, she worked along side her husband as a special deputy for the DeKalb County Sheriffs Department transporting inmates.
She also volunteered her time working in the Curiosity Shop at the DeKalb Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn. She was also very active in the Ladies Aide at the church.
She was born January 28, 1934, in Auburn, to Worthy T. and Edna B. (Neitzel) Clouse.
She married Duane Lee "Buck" Keesler on June 8, 1952, in the Little Church in the Garden in Angola. He died December 7, 2000.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Brian D. and Bonnie Keesler; five daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy Heffley, Toni and Ron Gall, Lona and Jerry Nusbaum, Shon and Randy Cook, and Angela and Jeff Shearer; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Clouse of Auburn; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Richard Clouse; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Nusbaum.
