Funeral services for David F. Self, 80, who passed away at a Shreveport hospital, Friday, June 22, was conducted at Central Baptist church at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 24 with Rev. Larry Solice and Rev. H. H. Tibbetts officiating.
Survivors are sons, Melvin of Mansfield, Joe of Houston, and Albert of Robeline, daughters, Mrs. Edna Blackwell of Many and Mrs. Viola Brumley of Houston, 25 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, pallbearers were six grandsons. He is at rest with his wife Mary in Central Baptist Cemetery Robeline.
