Alma Marcus "Memie" Conerly, 99, passed away Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, in Biloxi, Miss.
Her funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, at First Baptist Church of Leesville. The Reverend Wallace Palmer will officiate. Burial followed at Holly Grove Cemetery in Anacoco.
Survivors include: son, Jerry Marcus and wife Helen of Biloxi; daughter Wilma Connerly Sanders and husband Tom of Lake Charles; four grandchildren, Dana Sanders Queenan of Dallas, Thomas W. Sanders, Jr. (Kip), of Lake Charles, Maret Sanders Watson of Jackson, Miss., and Andrea Conerly Barker of Baton Rouge; seven great-grandchildren, Andrea, Kevin, Jr., and Corinne Queenan; Zack, Conner and Jon Sanders Watson and Madelyn Sanders; siblings Lillie Lackey, Evie Stokes, Eunice Vincent, and Harvey Marcus.
She was preceded in death her husband, W.K. "Ted" Conerly.
