Andrew Hunt Dies at 86; RItes Monday
Long Beach, Calif. -- Andrew Jackson Hunt, 86, formerly of Ogden, died Wednesday at his home in Long Beach. -- Mr. Hunt was born April 21, 1870, in Hooper, a son of Andrew Jackson and Nancy Jane Wilson Hunt. On Jan. 5, 1898, he married Laura Tressa Baker in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Ogden until 1932 when they moved to Long Beach. -- Surviving are his widow, Long Beach; six sons and two daughters, Andrew E. Hunt, Orlando W. Hunt, Mrs. Nick (Nancy) Keenan, and Mrs. Don (Bernice) Manns, Long Beach; Ellis G. Hunt, E. S. Hunt, Wallace A. Hunt and Parley W. Hunt, Ogden; 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two sisters and one brother, Jane Arave, Long Beach; Mrs. Bell Higley, Ogden; George W. Hunt, Hooper. -- Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Sponbergs Mortuary, 495 East Market St., North Long Beach. Burial in San Pedro, Calif.
