Died.
At ten o'clock Sunday evening, Sept. 6, 1896, Aaron H. Beals after a lingering illness of several months duration. The immediate cause of death was inflammation of the bowels, though he was suffering from consumption and that disease would neccessarily soon have taken him away.
No man ever lived in this community wo was more universally esteemed than Mr. Beals. He was a man of the most upright Christian character, and his influence for the right was deeply felt. He leaves three daughters and two sons to mourn his departure, his wife having died two or three years ago.
The funeral took place Monday afternoon, the sermon was preached by Rev. W.W. Worth, and the body was laid to rest in the Argonia cemetery.
