Second son of Lt. Job Scott BEALS GAR and Mary Annabelle "Anna" MILLS Beals.

Albert was born on 12May1867 in Newton, Iowa. His elder sister, Ora Jane BEALS married Abraham "Lincoln" GRIFFITH on 26Feb1888, our maternal G-grandparents.

As of this date, we are still researching our Beals FT. The Beals families, for generations, would have large families; the average number of children appears to be 12, over a 150 year span.

The family patriarch, David Beals Senior (FAG ID# 19610518), was born in 1771 and died in 1870. He married twice, first to Rachel West (FAG#50302948), and after Rachel's death in 1840, to Mrs. Elizabeth (nee)Mitchell Nelson. He fathered twenty (20) children; born between May 1796 to May 1858. His youngest child, was born when David was eighty-seven (87); proven by church, county and state records.
