Son of Joseph and Ester ELLIS. Married to Isabel "Ibby", daughter of Josias (Josiah) ELLIS, Levin's niece.

Children: Nancy (Culver), Elizabeth "Patsy", Rachel (Middlebrooks), Mary "Polly" (Figgs), Phillis (Miller), Isaac, Eliza Ann (Culver).

Georgia Revolutionary War Soldiers' and Graves, Vol. 1: Served as soldier in Virginia and later drew land in the 1827 Georgia Land Lottery. Buried in Old Ellis Cemetery (lone grave maker) maker may have been moved to Sparta Cemetery.
