LOST CAPTAIN, ONCE WOUNDED, DEAD IN ACTION James A. Danforth Killed in Germany.
Deceased Name: CAPT JAMES A. DANFORTH
CAPT JAMES A. DANFORTH , 27, was killed in action Dec. 12 in Germany, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph S. Danforth , of the Homestead hotel, Evanston, have been notified, Capt . Danforth , who previously had been reported missing in action, was wounded in France July 26, recovered in an English hospital, and returned to the fighting front in September. He had been in the army since October, 1941. He was a graduate of Evanston Township High school and DePauw university.
