On March 15, 1968, Both Marshall Wiygul and PFC Ricardo Campos, were walking point when PFC Campos became a ground casualty. he was 10 k NE of My Tho, Dinh Tuong, South Vietnam.
He served with Alpha Company, 60th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division, "Old Reliables", USARV.
He was killed by multiple fragmentation wounds when a grenade exploded near him. He was 24 years of age and his body was recovered.
