DRY RIDGE, Ky. - Mel D. Allen II, 42, of Dry Ridge, Ky. died Sunday, Aug. 8 after a motorcycle accident.
He was a road construction for Lawrence Construction Co. in Burlington, Ky. and member of the Kentucky Motorcycle Association (KBA, Inc.).
Survivors include his wife, Cheri Allen; daughters, Chrystina O'Hara, stationed in South Korea and Ashley Lancaster of Dry Ridge, Ky.; father, Melvin Allen of Loveland, Ohio; sister, Elizabeth Radford of West Milton, Ohio; and two grandchildren.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden, Ky. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Pendleton County, Ky.
