Alexa Rae Linboom, age 5, of Surgionsville, became the fairest princess in all the land on January 3, 2012 at Niswonger Children's Hospital in Johnson City.

Alexa was a Tom-boy and a Girly-girl who was Top of her Class in Mrs. Hostatler's Kindergarten Class at Surgionsville Elementary School. She loved school and her classmates. Some of the things that brought enjoyment to her life was coloring, playing with her Barbie dolls, her love of animals, but her most joy came when playing with her brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Charles E. and Patsy Vaughn and Uncle: Jeffery "Smack" NcNally.

Alexa leaves her father: Randall Lee and Nana Vaughn. Brothers: Tanner and Keegan Linboom; sisters: Jaime, Brandi and Carrie Vaughn. Aunts: Patty and Curt Barton, Bridgette and Andrew Sandidge, Chelsea Barton, Celine McNally, Rachel and Scotty Calton, and Neveda Miles, Jo Taylor and Boys. Her mother: Katie Linboom, grandmother: Deb Warford; great grandparents: Richard and Marzetta Linboom; great great grandmother: Margaret Morgan. Aunt: Crickett Linboom; cousins: Ryan and Jocelyn Hamilton; great uncle: David Linboom and several great great aunts and cousins.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Colboch-Price Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 with Rev. Billy Linkous officiating.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, Jan. 9, 2012 at Long's Bend Cemetery.
