Robert E. Angradi, age 73, of East Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully at his home on May 5 after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was the loving and devoted husband of Anita Mae (Keiper) Angradi, who passed away on July 13, 2007, and now is joined together in their heavenly home.

He was born in Glen Lyon on Jan. 3, 1936, the son of the late Ernest and Stella (Fundalecicz) Angradi.

Robert had worked at East Stroudsburg University in East Stroudsburg as a custodian for 24 years, retiring in 2004 and belonged to AFSCME Union.

He had also worked as a milkman for Monroe Co-Op in East Stroudsburg.

He was a member of the Laborer's Local Union Local 1174 in Allentown.

Robert was a Stroudsburg Little League Coach for more than 30 years and was a District 29 representative for 15 years. He loved baseball and was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan. Stroudsburg Little League dedicated the R. Clinton Hughes Jr. Baseball Field in Stroudsburg on Saturday, May 2, in which Robert was honored and he threw the first pitch.

Bob could often be found at one of the local diners, and he especially loved the Arlington Diner.

We have been blessed with the depth of Robert's love for us and with the memory of his touch in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his children, Marshall Angradi and Roxanne Miller of Bushkill, Robert Angradi and his wife, Janet, of Saylorsburg, Jeffrey Angradi and his wife, Jillene, of Milford, and Tina Pence and her husband, Gregory, of Mount Pocono; a brother, Kenneth Angradi and his wife, Jeanne, of Glen Lyon; and his seven grandchildren, Elijah, Jacob, Donald-Paul, Raph, Jack, Brandon and Kaitlyn, who always warmed his heart and brought a smile to his face.

He was a member and usher at the Calvary Baptist Church in Hamilton Township, Stroudsburg.
