Judith A. Confer, 71, of Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont, passed away Monday at Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Paul and Kathleen (Beasum) Saylor. She married John C. Confer on April 11, 1970. He preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 2009.

Surviving are a son, Larry Confer of Elizabethtown; three daughters and one son-in-law: Valeria and Mike Walter of Kreamer, Heather Reich of Middleburg and Sherri Lehmier of Danville; five grandchildren: Amanda Bunnell, Jamie Brown, Joshua Mayhew, Bill Morgan and Adam Lehmier; and a brother, Richard Saylor.

She was preceded in death by a son, William Wendt; and a brother, Robert Saylor.

Mrs. Confer graduated from Hollidaysburg High School. She was previously employed as a nurse at DuBois Hospital and later at Dauphin Manor Nursing Home.

Judith enjoyed ceramics and painting.

At Judith's request, there will be no service.
