Minerva Cobb Sasser, age 82, of Old Whitley Road, London, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 8, 2004,
at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Corbin, Kentucky.
Born December 30, 1921, in Laurel County, Kentucky, she was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. Cobb and Catherine Jones Cobb; and her husband, Joe Sasser.
Survivors include two brothers-in-law, Willie Cobb and Abe Sasser, both of Lily, Kentucky; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Cobb of Florida and Pat Goldstiene of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Saturday, November 13, at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Philpot and Bro. Johnny Morris Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Sasser Cemetery.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. Friday, November 12, at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home.
