He leaves behind to cherish his memory one step-son; Beecher Owens, Jr. and wife Janet of Little Flock, Arkansas, two step-daughters; Judy wright and husband Albert of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Pixie Owens Huntley and husband Doug of Danville, Kansas. Two half-brothers; Leroy Martin of Avoca, Arkansas, Jimmy Martin of Centerton, Arkansas. Five half-sisters; LaVonne Poindexter of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Darlene Kaufelt of Watts, Oklahoma, Laveta McCalister of Rogers, Arkansas, Georgie McGarrah of Springdale, Arkansas and Josie Mounce of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Three step-grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one sister Ruby Dean Martin; three half-brothers; Manuel Reece of Pleasanton, Kansas, Orvil Allen of California and James Martin of Gentry, Arkansas, and one-half sister Mary Drain of West Fork, Arkansas.
Charles enjoyed repairing motors, gardening, fishing, deer hunting and watching NASCAR races.
