Claud was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of Christ faith. He lived in Muldrow most of his life. I remember he always wore overalls and had silver dollars in his pocket to give you when you visited.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ada (Billingsley) Butcher (d.1952) and his twin sons Ernest & Bernest Butcher (d.1918).
Claud was survived by 3 of his 5 children (Lloyd Butcher, Flossie McGehee and Jewel Rogers).
Services - 2pm, May 22nd at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Troy Tanksleary officiating. Burial in Blackjack Cemetery, NW of Muldrow - Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Pallbearers were his grandsons:
Bobby Rogers, Jerry Rogers, Ronnie Rogers, Junior Rogers, Carroll Rogers and Dwight Rogers.
Honorary pallbearers were Louis Brannon, L.D. Springwater, Elmo Powell and Ruben Owens.
