Codie G. Mullins, 78, of Sapulpa, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004. He was born Jan. 12, 1926 in Council Hill to Burl Green Mullins and Martha J. Mullins. He was a member of Calvary Hill Assembly of God. He was retired from 20th Century Machine. He married Lillian Ruth Shanks on Sept. 5, 1953.
Codie was a WWII veteran.

Codie was preceded in death by his parents and 1 son, Timmy Mullins (1962). Two brother-in-laws, Carl Brewer (1993) and Carnell Lowe (1997).

Survivors are his wife Lillian; son James Mullins and wife Patty; daughter Donna Powers; grandchildren Terra Mullins, Codie A. Mullins, Elisa Lord and Michael Powers; four brothers John Mullins, of Porum, Carl Mullins, of Muskogee, Charles Stephens and Leonard Mullins; two sisters Mary Alvarez and Fannie Mathis, of California; two great-grandchildren Jeremy and Genesis Lord, of Tulsa. Great-grandchildren since his death are Autumn, Logan, Noah, Ryan and Hailey Mullins.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 19, 2004 in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rodney Wilborn officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Christopher Gazaway, Jacob Coffey, Mitchell Baxter, Branden Green, Patrick Foster and Steven Jones. Funeral services will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
