.Lance Cpl. Eric J. Bernholtz, 23, of Grove City, died courageously serving his country in Iraq, August 3, 2005. He was a member of Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marines, 4th Marine Division. Eric was a 2000 graduate of Grove City High School and a faithful member of the Grove City Church of the Nazarene. He was active with the church's youth Outreach program and helped coach the youths sport teams. He is survived by his parents, James and Cathy Bernholtz; brother, Adam (Sarah) Bernholtz; grandparents, Victor (Ida) Bernholtz, Clinton (Phyllis) Black; longtime girlfriend, Erica Scott; aunts and uncles, Pam (Barry) Anderson, Paul (Toni) Bernholtz, Kathy Johnson, Joe Bernholtz, Victor (Pam) Bernholtz, Mary (Kurt) Lemke, John (Quinn) Bernholtz, Leigh (Tara) Bernholtz, Marcia (David) Solmonson, Ernie (Kris) Hockett, Tom (JoEllen) Black, Richard Black, Sarah (David) VanDusen; extended cousins and church family. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Friday August 12, 2005 at the GROVE CITY CHURCH of the NAZARENE, 4770 Hoover Rd., Grove City, OH, where the funeral will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2005 with Rev.
