He is my 8th great-grandfather. He was born at St. Godard, de Rouen, France to Guilaume Couture and Marie Madeleine Maillot and later immigrated to Canada. He married Anne Emard on November 16, 1649 at St. Joseph, Pointe Levis, Quebec, Canada. They had 10 children. It is said that all Coutures in North America decsend from them.
