Funeral services for David Benn Broussard will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, October 26, 2015 in the Friendship Baptist Church in Pine Prairie with Reverend David Plunkett and Reverend Barry Gautreaux officiating. Committal service will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Pine Prairie under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
David, 45, of Pine Prairie, entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 22, 2015 in the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. He was born July 25, 1970 in Lecompte to Johnny Marvin Broussard and Marlene Campbell Broussard. He was a Baptist by Faith and operated heavy equipment on road construction. He was a loving husband; father, brother, uncle, cousin, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, and friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 16 years, Cynthia Lamke Broussard of Pine Praire; three sons, David Wyatt Broussard, Cade Benjamin Broussard, and Tylan Gage Broussard all of Pine Prairie; one brother, John Broussard of Pine Prairie; two sisters, Lisa Soileau and Kelly Broussard both of Pine Prairie; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Burton and Wanda Lamke of Pine Prairie; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers to serve will be Wyatt Broussard, Steve Delafosse, Danny Lamke, Allen Gray, Brandon “Buck” Ardoin, and Mac Silman. Honorary pallbearers to serve will be Cade Broussard, Randy Cloud, and Stacey Guillory.
