Alyssa was to enter her Senior year at Farmington High School. She was on the school's Field Hockey team. Alyssa enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and was hoping to become a teacher.
Besides her parents, she leaves her adoring brothers: Zachery and Mason; maternal grandparents, Bubby Helene and Zayde Bill Fabian; paternal grandparents: Evelyn and Robert Ashley; Auntie Ronda and Uncle Jay, Auntie Renee and Uncle Dave, Aunt Tami and Uncle Brad, Aunt Linda and Uncle Joe, and Uncle Wayne; cousins: Tyler, Allie, Lily, Kelly, Brian, and Alison. She also leaves many devoted great aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 27, at 1 p.m. at Congregation B'Nai Sholom, 26 Church St., Newington with Rabbi Debra Cantor officiating. A Memorial Period will be observed at her home, 34 Cheryl Drive, Farmington, on Monday, following the funeral and on Tuesday and Wednesday, 1-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alyssa Suzanne Roy Memorial Fund, c/o Farmington Savings Bank, 32 Main St., Farmington, CT 06032.
