"I was a friend of Justin's mother, and I attended little Justin's funeral. Could you please add the info about him.
Thank you,
Rose

Justin was a very sweet, inquisitive little boy with boundless energy. He and his mother lived in an upstairs apartment.

One morning Justin found a lighter in the living room and started playing with it, the sofa caught on fire. His mother and several neighbors tried to rescue him and were unable to get to him as he was on the opposite side of the sofa. His mother had to be rushed to a burn center for the burns she received trying to rescue her little son.

I remember being shocked when I drove down the highway from the store and saw their burning apartment. The fire department was there and many people were standing around talking. I stopped and asked some people, about the fire and I was told little Justin had died in the fire and his mother was badly burned. I felt ill to my stomach. I had talked with Justin and his mother a few days before.

Many people attended little Justin's funeral, he and his mother were known by many people. Justin's mother didn't have a car and so they walked all over town, met a lot of people. I still remember the song that was played during the service at the cemetery "Jesus Loves Me". Justin's mother was able to attend, she was brought in a wheel chair, my heart ached for her loss, her pain.
