She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, John A. Sever, Sr. on December 17, 2009.
She is survived by
her two children, John A. Sever, Jr. and his wife Leslie of Huber Heights and Jeannine Thoma and her husband, Doug of Miamisburg;
a wonderful grandson, Brad Thoma and his wife Amanda of Carlisle;
great grandson, Bryce Thoma;
two sisters, Doris Sivert & Phyllis Peffley.
She attended Wilber Wright High School and the Dayton Art Institute School of Design. Her career plans changed after she met her soul mate, John. She was an amazing mother, grandma, sister, and aunt. She was loved by so many. She was the youngest of 14 siblings. She spent many cherished hours with her loving sisters playing Disney Memory Game & Rummy. A lot of happy times spent laughing & sharing stories together. She loved her family very much and was very proud of her children, John and Jeannine. Brad, her grandson was the light of her life. On the day she passed, God had a plan already worked out. She was to be blessed with her 1st great grandson, Bryce Cameron, born 90 minutes after her passing.
Funeral service at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME, FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave., at Rahn Rd. Interment in David's Cemetery.
