Joseph Isadore Clausen, the son of John & Ottlia (Deniger) Clausen was born Aug 28 1908 at Kranzburg, SD. He graduated from Brookings Ag School in 1940 and returned to the family farm southeast of Watertown. While attending school, he played violin for a local band. He farmed all his life and retired in 1979. In 1993 he moved to Watertown. Isadore enjoyed card playing and singing. He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, St Francis Mens Choir, and Holy Name Parish Choir. He was also a 4th degree Knights of Columbus and a member of St Nicholos Court of the Catholic Order of Foresters. Joseph Isadore Clausen passed away Saturday March 2 1996 at a Watertown SD hospital at the age of 87.
