Christopher S. Clausen, the son of Richard and Eileen (Wensing) Clausen, was born April 21, 1963 at Sioux Falls SD and was adopted. He attended elementary school in Kranzburg and graduated from Waverly High School. Chris obtained his degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. He was currently employed with Southwestern Bell at Austin TX. He had lived in Texas the past eight years. Chris enjoyed canoeing and hiking. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Christopher S. Clausen passed away Friday March 20, 1998 at Austin Texas at the age of 34 years, 10 months, and 30 days.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother.
Survivors include his father, Richard Clausen and his brother, Chuck Clausen both of Watertown, South Dakota: one sister, Cara Wise and her husband David and his nephew Ryan Wise all of Rapid City SD.
