Brent Piche died july 1st 2004 at his home in greer.Brent was the husband of Lorrain Klintworth Piche.He had two children from previous marriages a son Jason and a daughter Jaime.He also had two stepdaughters Kristy Mason and Cayce Harvley.We all miss him very much.He was the son of Margaret stancell Piche. She had just lost a son, Steven Piche on May first 2004.I wish he was here whole and happy.We had eleven Grandchildren together they miss their papa. Brent was a steel fabricator.He was a hard
worker and had been in steel work for about 33years.He
was a good husband and father.I feel that I would be in
error if I did not tell the circumstances of his death.
Brent injured his back in Aug.2001.The doctors had him on
narcotic pain killers.They did surgery in 2002 and continued
the pain medication,as time went by he started taking more.
He was addicted and he started abusing them.Things got out
of control.He went to his pain mannagement Dr.and he put
him on methadone.I did not know much about the drug,I knew
they gave it to people that were addicted to heroin.The
dr.also kept him on other narcotics at the same time.The
first month he said he thought it was helping.June 30th
they increased the millograms the next night Brent died
of accute methadone intoxication.I am only including this
to help others that may be in a similar situation.
We loved him very much.The increase of deaths from prescription drugs is rising every day.We need to stay informed and know about the medication we are taking.
Brent was a kind and loving person and we MISS him terribly.
Loosing Brent has left a huge void in our lives.I dont want
anyone to go through what our family has.
Brent will always be LOVED and MISSED so very much!!!
