OAKDALE - Services for Lela Laborde will be at 2 p.m. today in Freedom Baptist Church with the Revs. R.E. Hinkle and Larry Ginks officiating. Burial will be in Occupy No. 1 Cemetery under direction of White Oaks.
Mrs. Laborde, 83, of Oakdale died Friday, Nov. 22, 1996, in Allen Oaks Nursing Home.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Laborde of Oakdale and Charles Laborde of Glenmora; one stepson, Irby Laborde of Pitkin; one brother, Bonnie Hatch of Elizabeth; two sisters, Lottie Maricle of New Iberia and Irma Jordan of Oakdale; 13 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call until time of services today in the church.
